MUNICIPAL SERVICES
The Municipal Office is located at 3740 28 6th Line Amaranth, west of Laurel, northwest corner of County Road 10. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Click on the sidebar to the left for various services.
The Municipal Office and Council Chambers are accessible for physcially disabled. The Recreation Hall is accessible for physcially disabled at the rear of the building.

LANDFILL
SITE NEWS
located on 4th Line north of 15 Sideroad
Wed - 8:30am-12:00 noon * Sat - 8:00am-4:00pm
~ Closed Holidays ~
Tipping Fees apply on certain
items entering the Landfill Site. These fees
are comparable if not less than surrounding municipalities and are
required in order to control the usage of the site and extend its
life.
Please note there is no charge for recycling, composting, scrap
metal, the re-use centre, bale wrap, twine or feed bags. Recyclables
should be sorted (boxes, cans, paper all separate) and cardboard
boxes broken down.
Household garbage is being limited to 104 free bags per year. 104
Stickers will be issued in August of each year to put on your bags.
If you require more stickers ~ they can be purchased for $1.00 per
sticker.
Backyard Composters are for sale by the County of Dufferin at the
Landfill Site and Township Office for a cost of $30.00 each. |
